whats up...

been kinda busy and hectic lately! Christmas shoping is great but exauhsting! Most know I went to a funeral on saterday. It realy helped me with the guilt of not being closer to grandma. I know there is nothing that can change my mistakes, but I can be extra careful not to make the same mistake again. I paln to keep in touch with that part of the family now. I realy hate that I barely know them all. I dont even know a lot of thier names! I am determined to get to know them all at least a l;ittle.

Josh is fixin to update the puter AGAIN! Oh my... it never ends! Hehehe...

I have realy started getting into some awesome stuff!!! I have been strongly thinking about diving into painting again, but dont think I can handle it right now,its such an emotional undertaking for me. I pour everything into it and I dont feel like the result is worth the hell. But I am struggling to fight the urge to paint with oils anyway.
Any way, I found this photographer on-line by chance. It was soooo awesome! Heres the story.... Im an avid twitterer. A friend posted an article about a national geographic photo contest. I didnt know they had photo contests!!! So I check it out and here I find this awesome photo! This immediately strikes me as familiar. And here is why...

I have seen this location before!!! In a Readers Digest book called Scenic Wonders of America. The picture was so inspiring to me I attempted to kinda mimic it in my first (and only) oil painting over 2 years ago! ( I definitely did not mimic the photograph well, but I was surprisingly proud of the result any way).

Any way, back to the story... so I tracked down the photographer and asked him where his photo was taken, and sure enough...its the same location!!! I am absolutely in love with his photography. First he is exceptionaly talented and second he has exceptional scenery to take incredible photographs of! He is soooo lucky and deserving Im sure. sooo check out his stuff, its awesome and.... he sells prints! You can even get them printed on canvas for an incredibly awesome, breathtaking experience every time you see it!

Ok, enough selling... but honestly though, if you buy any of his prints, let him know you heard it from me, cause I plan on getting a big print on canvas in a few months and refering you gives me a little savings:) ( I promise thats not why I mentioned it though, cause I just love his work and wanted you all to get to see its awesomeness!)

Until later...
