Josh's birthday is tuesday. He will be 29! Wow, I realy can't believe it! Josh and I have been together for the majority of 13 years, married over 10! Time does fly... Anyway, for his birthday I scrambled to find sitters for all the girls so we could spend the day at kings island. We love Kings Island. It has some of the best roller coasters in the world and we have season passes, so all we need is gas to get there and sitters for all the kids. I was able to find places for the girls and then spent most of the night on the puter. I climb into bed at midnight wakeing josh up to see when he wants to get up. He asks a great question "when does it open?" Hmmm... let me go check. I get on the website and a screen pops up ' park closed! reopens Sept. 27'. WHAT?! Are you kidding?! No joke... I was realy upset now, all that trying to get the kids settled somewhere (anyone with several kids and no family close by knows what a challenge that is) just to have them closed. I wasn't mad, but I couldn't get to sleep, so I spend an hour trying to find something for us to do for less that $20. Satisfied with a nice looking river 2 hours away, I went to bed.
When we got up, we spend 2 hours trying to decide where to go as Josh isn't wanting to drive all that way. He finaly jumps up and says, I know where we are going, get ready, lets go. Now, I'm liking this cause I dont know where we are going and I love surprizes but rarely get them. Im ready and hes looking for his fishing licence. We cant find it anywhere! Then we check his pants... the ones I just washed... yep, there it is, all wadded into a ball of paper mache'!

This is when(laughing histericaly mind you) I tell Josh that today is a day where nothing is allowing plans. We must tell ourselfs that we expect nothing from this day, it is what it is, and we will have fun! And we did:) It was a wonderful day. We ended up at Brookville lake. Here are some pics to share our wonderful day with you... enjoy!

This is the view from the top of Brookville dam(we climbed to the top, see our white car WAY down there in the parking lot?)
